My internet connection is the other end of the house, and its connected wirelessly, obviously my xbox ethernet cable wont stretch that far, any suggestions? P.s i only have a laptop connected wirelessly, no pc.

You will need a wireless adaptor for your Xbox 360 so that you can connect to your wifi at home.
Yup like they said you need a wireless adapter.
